PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology has
been tasked with producing a National ICT Policy for Botswana.
The policy is to assist Botswana in accelerating into the global
Information Society and act as a key catalyst in achieving social,
economic and cultural transformation within the country.

The ICT Policy must compliment and build upon Vision 2016 - a
progressive initiative aimed at achieving deveeloped country status
for Botswana by year 2016
